Your Guilty Pleasure is a Southern California based “Iconic Rock – Decades Tribute Band.”
Born in a garage in Los Angeles in the Summer of 2015 with the original intentions of just being a “jam” band.
It wasn’t long before they realized they had something special! In early 2016, they would go on to play in and around Southern California pleasing crowds in local breweries, clubs and private events. When the Global Pandemic hit in 2020, turning the world upside down, the band stopped playing live venues and eventually the original members went their separate ways.
The band’s lone member (founder), Donna Castro knew one day she would be able to reform Your Guilty Pleasure, not only to recapture the magic, but to create an experience like no other. In the summer of 2021 at an impromptu jam for a friends party, Donna met up with dynamic, powerhouse drummer, Alan Strommer. It was then that they both realized they had lightning in a bottle. Fast forward to January 2022, they added groovin bass player, Stuart Jackson and young-gun screamin’ lead guitar player, Gabriel Albarran. The line-up was set!
Your Guilty Pleasure is just that! Re-imagining iconic rock n roll music…Decade to Decade! Reliving the music of the 60’s & 70’s with artists such as The Rolling Stones, Grand Funk, Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith, the 80’s with the likes of Bon Jovi, AC/DC and Tom Petty, 90’s favs Alanis Morriesette, Melisssa Ethridge, and Sublime, to current artists The Black Keys, Elle King, and Foo Fighters.
