The countdown is on! The Upland Lemon Festival returns to Historic Downtown Upland from June 5–7, 2026—and we’re already dreaming of the lemons, live music, carnival rides, tasty bites, and family fun that bring our community together every year.

The Upland Lemon Festival has been an important part of Upland tradition since 1997. What originally started as a simple way of celebrating the city’s citrus industry origins has grown into a town-wide affair including the annual Lemon Idol vocal contest, food competitions, craft vendors, community organizations, carnival rides and more. Lemon Idol 2026!
Lemon Idol is back for the 2026 Upland Lemon Festival — presented this year by Ovation School for the Performing Arts of Upland — and we’re looking for standout solo vocalists from Upland and surrounding communities! Whether you’re a rising star or a seasoned singer, this is your chance to shine on the Gazebo Stage in Downtown Upland.

Lemon Idol is a solo vocal talent competition open to all singers in Upland and surrounding communities.
Age Categories & Prizes:
Juniors (6–12 years old): 1st Prize – $300 + Title | 2nd Prize – $100 | 3rd Prize – $50
Teens (13–19 years old): 1st Prize – $300 + Title | 2nd Prize – $100 | 3rd Prize – $50
Adults (20+ years old): 1st Prize – $300 + Title | 2nd Prize – $100 | 3rd Prize – $50

Mechanical Bull Riding
Be sure to sign up on Friday for our Mechanical Bull Contest! The first 10 people to sign up before 6 pm are entered free. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Grand prize is $50 gift card and 2 free unlimited ride wristbands!
Karoake
Kick off your weekend with a night of fun and music at the Lemon Country Stage! Join us this Friday from 7 – 10pm for the best karaoke experience around. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a first-time singer, grab the mic and sing your heart out to your favorite tunes.
Axe Throwing
Join Axe Lair for an exhilarating axe-throwing experience that will sharpen your skills and ignite your competitive spirit! Perfect for friends and families alike, expert instructors will guide you through the basics, ensuring a fun and safe environment for everyone.
