The Upland Lemon Festival has been an important part of Upland tradition since 1997. What originally started as a simple way of celebrating the city’s citrus industry origins has grown into a town-wide affair including the annual Lemon Idol vocal contest, food competitions, craft vendors, community organizations, carnival rides and more. Lemon Idol is back for the 2025 Upland Lemon Festival — and we’re looking for standout solo vocalists from Upland and surrounding communities! Whether you’re a rising star or a seasoned singer, this is your chance to shine on the Gazebo Stage in Downtown Upland.
The competition features three age categories:
Juniors (8–12), Teens (13–19), and Adults (20+), with cash and prizes for the top 3 in each group!
Festival Dates: June 6–8, 2025
Finals Location: Gazebo in Downtown Upland (305 N 2nd Ave)
Prizes: 1st – $500 | 2nd – $300 | 3rd – $100
Video Audition Deadline: May 11th

Mechanical Bull Riding
Be sure to sign up on Friday for our Mechanical Bull Contest! The first 10 people to sign up before 6 pm are entered free. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Grand prize is $50 gift card and 2 free unlimited ride wristbands!
Karoake
Kick off your weekend with a night of fun and music at the Lemon Country Stage! Join us this Friday from 7 – 10pm for the best karaoke experience around. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a first-time singer, grab the mic and sing your heart out to your favorite tunes.
Axe Throwing
Join Axe Lair for an exhilarating axe-throwing experience that will sharpen your skills and ignite your competitive spirit! Perfect for friends and families alike, expert instructors will guide you through the basics, ensuring a fun and safe environment for everyone.
